- SUMMARY OF INCREDIBLE LEAVE/PAID TIME OFF: 3 Weeks Annual Leave for all FT non-faculty employees (Balance can be carried into next year); 3 Weeks Sick Leave and 1 Week Discretionary Leave for all FT employees; 1 Week Spring Break; 1 Week Thanksgiving/Fall Break; 1 Week Winter Holiday Break (it is usually a couple days MORE) all adds up to 9 Weeks. Add in 8-plus days off for Fridays in June and July and 4 other campus-closures for observation of holidays and it all adds up to 12 WEEKS of PAID TIME OFF! POSITION: ERP Systems Analyst/Programmer
Description of Duties: Design, develop and implement ERP-related information services; Identify, build and apply PeopleSoft application patches, bundles, tax updates, maintenance packs and other fixes; Reapply customizations in conjunction with application patches; Track and move projects from development systems into production; Provide troubleshooting for isolating technical and functional problems in PeopleSoft environments. Analyze and debug issues with SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, File Parser, and SQL database; Train users on the use of new applications or enhancements to existing applications; Create system and program documentation as needed for new and existing systems; Recommend changes to existing systems or implementation of new systems as needed to improve the efficiency of the system or the process; Regular attendance is an essential function of this position; Perform other related duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President of Information Systems. Light lifting up to 10 lbs and light carrying up to 10 lbs required. Prolonged time working at a computer workstation. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping. Manual dexterity sufficient to type.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related OR an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Two (2) years experience working in ERP environments applying patches, programming, and/or updates. Experience using SQL, SQR, PeopleCode, File Parser, Application Engine, and Query Analyzer is preferred. PowerShell experience is a plus. Sharepoint experience is a plus.
