THE PART-TIME HOURLY POSITION ANNOUNCES AN OPENING IN THE COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER
POSITION: Kids College Counselor, I and II (Part-Time Summer)
Description of Duties: Responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of participants in Kids College and Teen Scene. Work with kids, instructors, and program administration to constantly maintain the safety and well-being of all participants while encouraging a fun and educational environment. Responsible for maintaining the safety and well-being of children attending camps. Assist Kids College and Teen Scene instructors with daily camp activities. Assist in supervising children during early care, morning and afternoon camp sessions, lunch breaks, and late care. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Be a positive example for campers while encouraging a fun and educational environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
This is a part-time hourly position up to 20 hours per week. Hours may vary between the times of 7:00 am- 5:30 pm. Monday-Thursday. The assignment dates may vary from June 1, 2022- July 29, 2022.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. High school jumiors are eligible to apply. Responsible, reliable, organized, good communication, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications: Working with children, and first aid certification.
Rate of Pay: $7.25 per hour. $8.50 for prior RSC Kids' College experience.
An unofficial degree conferring transcripts must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.
All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
