OU has partnered with Rose State College to offer classroom course instruction for students who require additional mathematics instruction in order to progress in one of several college-level mathematics pathways. We are seeking passionate highly engaged mathematics educators to cultivate student achievement. If success of such students is the focus of your teaching, we want to hear from you.

Openings for Adjunct Professor(s) may be available in the following area of study:

• Developmental Math (Elementary & Intermediate Algebra)*

Minimum Qualifications:

• Generally, a master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline and two years college teaching experience.

* Adjunct opportunities in this area require lesser degrees

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education with a Concentration in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
• Also allowed (one of the following): Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 18 undergraduate credit hours in Mathematics courses Calculus II or above OR Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education with Concentration in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Astronomy, Aeronautics, or Astrophysics.
• Tested Experience (both conditions must be met): Bachelor's degree in any field AND State of Oklahoma Professional Teacher License with Mathematics Education Secondary Endorsement

An unofficial degree conferring transcripts must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.

All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
